Ingredients

1 tbsp ghee
3 cups grated dudhi
2 tbsp milk powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp of cornflour
1/2 tsp of elaichi powder
A pinch of nutmeg powder
Blanched n cut almond slivers.
Desiccated coconut, powdered sugar to garnish

Instructions

Heat ghee in a nonstick kadhai.
Add the grated dudhi in it. Stir well.
Put in the heaped tbsp of milk powder. Immediately, the mixture turns liquidy. Keep stirring on a medium flame.
Add 1/2 cup of sugar to it and cook till the liquid has almost evaporated.
Add elaichi powder, a pinch of nutmeg powder and blanched n cut almond slivers. Mix well.
Add 1 tbsp of cornflour to the mixture and keep stirring till it leaves the sides of the kadhai and forms a loose dough.
Grease a thali with some ghee and pat the dough into it spreading evenly.
Top with a little desiccated coconut, powdered sugar and cut almonds.
Refrigerate for 2 hours so that it solidifies well. Cut into squares and enjoy it cold.
